Flashing Red Light After Full Charge
If, after fully charging a Garmin Pro Series device it shows a flashing red light immediately after disconnecting from the charger, please contact Garmin support by returning to the previous page and selecting the Contact Us option at the bottom that works best for you.
We are currently tracking this issue, which can affect either a dog device or handheld, and want to make sure you are notified once we have a resolution.
Once you have been added to our tracking ticket there is no need to contact us for updates, we will notify you once the resolution is available.
For a temporary solution to the issue, follow the instructions below:
- Charge the device fully (solid green LED)
- Disconnect the device from the charger
- Connect the device back to the charger for about 5 seconds (do not exceed 10 seconds)
- Disconnect the device from the charger once again
The unit should now function like normal. However, each time the unit is charged these steps will need to be repeated.
