Highlighted Route Displays as a Dotted Line on an Automotive Device
When a route is calculated, a dotted line may be displayed along the route. The dotted line is displayed when you are off-road or on a road not recognized by the device. Once the route is on a road the device recognizes, the dotted line will become a solid magenta line and the route will begin. An example of this can be viewed below.
