How Do I Identify My Product Model?
You can identify your product through the product model, serial number, or device ID and find corresponding support content in the Support Center.
The complete product model includes the product series and code (if applicable).
The serial number is printed on the outside of the product and consists of 8 to 9 alphanumeric characters, without spaces or hyphens.
The location of this information varies by model, and it is recommended to check the following possible locations:
- On the back or bottom of the device
- Beneath the adjacent charging port, under the battery cover, or inside the battery compartment
- Under the waterproof cover
- Under the mounting bracket
- Under the GPS antenna
- Under the collar (dog collar)
- Inside the original box
- On the side of the box (Vector)
Below are examples of the locations of various product models and serial numbers (SN):

1. Garmin Drive / DriveSmart navigation series: You can find the serial number on the back (requires removing the mounting bracket).
2.Edge series (Edge 1040 / 840 / 540 / 1030 / 830 / 530): You can find the serial number on the rear side.
3. GPSMAP 64st: You can find the serial number inside the battery compartment.
4. Approach series: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
5. Fenix 7 series / Fenix 6 series / quatix 7 / tactix 7 / Venu 2 plus: After removing the watch band, you can find the serial number on the side.
6. Forerunner series (Forerunner 9XX / 7XX / 2XX / Forerunner XX): You can find the serial number on the rear side of the watch.
7. Instinct series: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
8. Lily: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
9. Approach Z82: You can find the serial number on the side.
10. MARQ series: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
11. Rally / Vector series
12. Descent T1
13. Venu 2 series: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
14. Venu SQ / SQ 2: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
15. Vivosmart series: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
16. InReach mini 2: You can find the serial number on the rear side.
17. Index S2 Smart Scale: You can find the serial number by opening the battery cover on the rear side.

If you are unable to confirm your SN serial number, you can find a 10-digit device ID in the device's settings under System. You can contact customer service by phone or email and provide this device ID to confirm your product's SN serial number. Thank you.
