Garmin Connect App for Android Displays Device Disconnected Message

The Garmin Connect™ app is dependent upon a connection between the Bluetooth radio in your Garmin® watch and the Bluetooth® radio in your mobile phone. In some specific mobile devices, Garmin has seen similar behavior where the bond between those radios is lost due to an unknown behavior with the Bluetooth radio of that mobile device. When your watch disconnects from the Connect app, you will see a message similar to the example below.

If you continue to experience these disconnects, you may wish to contact the manufacturer of your mobile device to report the issue to them directly.
