Honda Navigation System Displays "Can't Unlock Maps" or "No Map Data"

Follow the Steps Below if your Honda Navigation System Displays the Messages "Can't Unlock Maps" or "No Map Data":

1. Press and hold the Volume control button (power button) until you get a message to reboot
   
2. Touch Yes
3. Launch the navigation system after the reboot
4. Reinstall the map by following the instructions in Honda Navigation Map Update

If the message, 'Information could not be written to the external media,' displays, when writing the information in the vehicle to the USB flash drive, return to the dealer to have your navigation system serviced.  

This process should resolve the error message. Return to the dealer to have your navigation system serviced if the error messages "Can't Unlock Maps" or "No Map Data" continues to display.
