Do I Need to Sign in to my Garmin Account to Update my Maps?

It is not necessary to sign in to your Garmin account on the Garmin website to update maps. Map update instructions can be found by following the Software section under your device in Support Center. 

Signing into your Garmin account is usually only necessary if you are purchasing something on the Garmin website. See Unable to Sign in to my Garmin Account for more info.
