Unexpected Error During Login

Navionics® (a Garmin brand) and Garmin now share the same account.  In case you also have a Garmin account (Garmin Connect™, myGarmin™, ...) using the same email address as your Navionics account, make sure to use the password you use to access your Garmin account.

Navionics Boating App

  • Make sure your device is running the latest version of the app from your app store.
  • Make sure your password does not include any special characters (e.g. "&", "?", "/", "\" etc.) as the app may not recognize these symbols and prevent you from logging in. If you need to change your password go to http://www.garmin.com/account and select the 'Forgot Password?' link.
  • If there is a SIM card in the device, try turning off Cellular and leave only your Wi-Fi connection turned on. If you still receive the error, try swapping and turn on Cellular and turn off your Wi-Fi connection.
  • Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or disconnecting from VPN.
  • Try going to http://www.garmin.com/account through a web browser to log into the website.
  • Is there possibly a security setting (virus or firewall protection) or an ad blocker on your network preventing you from logging in?
  • Try sending yourself a recovery password. Check your junk or spam mail for the incoming email, in case it was sent there.
  • If you have an Android device, try disabling Private DNS on your device.
  • If you have an Apple device, check Private Relay is disabled by going to your device Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Private Relay.

Computer Browser

  • Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or disconnecting from VPN.
  • Is there possibly a security setting (virus or firewall protection) on your network preventing you from logging in?
