"Voice Command is not available" on an Automotive Device

When using the voice command features listed below, your device may inform you that the voice command feature is not available for the country you're in, or for a specific language:

• Find Place
• Find Address
• Find City
• Find Intersection

To use any of the above voice command features, both of the following must be true:

• The preloaded maps on the device include the country you are in
• The selected text language on your device is supported within that country

To change the text language:

1. Touch the Toolbox or Wrench icon on the screen with the Magnifying Glass and Map icons
2. Touch the Wrench icon in the top left corner
   • Skip this step on some devices
3. Touch the Red Lips icon or Lips icon
4. Touch the silver or gray box on the right side of the screen
   • If the device does not have boxes, touch the second option
5. Touch the up or down arrow until you find the desired language
6. Touch the desired language
7. Touch OK or Save
   • If text language is not in English, this is the button on the right
8. Touch and hold the Back arrow to return to the main menu

The device should now be in the selected text language.

The tables below describe in which countries the above features are supported for a given text language setting. Note: All other voice command features should work regardless of the text language on the device.
