LIDAR-Lite I2C Repeated Start Commands
Some micro-controller operating systems default to repeated “START” conditions for multi-byte reads. When this occurs, invalid data or no data will be retrieved from the LIDAR-Lite v3 sensor. To correct this condition the sensor must first receive a “STOP” condition before a new “START” condition. Code written for previous versions of LIDAR-Lite (v1 & v2) may need to be updated for use with the v3 sensor.
