Card Activation Error: Selected Coverage is Already Associated to Your Account

When activating a new Navionics chartplotter card, if you receive a message the coverage is already associated to your account, this is because only one card for any given region can be associated to the same account. This is due to technical limitations.

In order to activate and update a card with the same coverage area, you will need to create an additional Garmin Navionics account to associate it to. This will require an additional email address, which means a new one may need to be created through your email service provider. 

Many email domains allow the use of email aliases. To do this, before the @ symbol, add a plus sign (+) to your email address followed by any alphanumeric combination, and emails will be sent to your main email inbox. This same "extra" email address can also be used to create an additional Garmin Navionics account.
