Requirements to Download Satellite Imagery on a Montana 700 Series
With the release of software version 14.80 on the Montana® 700, 700i, and 750i outdoor handhelds, BirdsEye Direct has been renamed as Satellite Imagery and incorporated into the Outdoor Maps+ menu on the handheld. Satellite imagery can still be downloaded for free to the Montana 700 handhelds and does not require an Outdoor Maps+ annual subscription.
Wi-Fi will be required to download satellite imagery. A Bluetooth® connection with either the Garmin Explore™ app or Garmin Connect™ app will also be required to validate the included satellite imagery service for the device. For detailed instructions on downloading satellite imagery, see - Download, View, or Delete Satellite Imagery on a Montana 700 Series.
