Reporting a Missing or Incorrect Red Light or Speed Camera Location

Missing Red Light or Speed Camera locations and errors with existing cameras can be reported in Garmin's Error Report Form.  The company supplying the Red Light and Speed Camera database, Cyclops, can then investigate the issue and make any changes needed.

Red Light and Speed Camera locations are updated periodically.  See Download an Update for a Red Light and Speed Camera Subscription for more information.

Include the Following Information When Filling out the Error Report Form:

  • Device serial number

  • Software version.

    • Go to Support Center and enter the Product Name or the Serial Number of your device, select Search Other Topics and search for "Finding the Software Version".

  • Map version.

    • Go to Support Center and enter the Product Name or the Serial Number of your device, select Search Other Topics and search for "Verifying Installed Maps".

  • Current Safety Camera database version.

    • Go to Support Center and enter the Product Name or the Serial Number of your device, select Search Other Topics and search for "Verify a Red Light and Speed Camera or Dangerous Zones Subscription was Successfully Downloaded to an Automotive Device".

  • Missing safety camera location and what your expectations are for that location.

  • Route starting, via, and ending points.

  • Which direction of travel should be alerted for safety camera.

The information will be submitted to Cyclops for investigation and correction if needed.
