Using Dog Speed Alerts on your Alpha 200, Alpha 200 Plus, and Alpha 300 Dog Tracking Handhelds

Alpha® 200, Alpha® 200i, Alpha® 200 Plus, Alpha® 300, and Alpha® 300i dog tracking handhelds have the ability to be provide an alert when your dog reaches a specific speed threshold. This can be useful to know if your dog is in pursuit of game. 

Dog Speed Alerts

From the main menu:

1. Select Set Up
2. Select Tones & Alerts
3. Select Dog Alerts
4. Select Speed Setup
5. Toggle Speed Detection to the On position
6. Select Speed Threshold
   • Enter a number between 0 and 45
7. Select Speed Alert to choose how this notification is received
   • Tone
   • Vibrate
   • Tone and Vibrate
   • Message Only
