Garmin Aviation Database Manager Not Opening on Mac

Follow the Steps below if the Garmin Aviation Database Manager is not Opening on a Mac Computer.

  1. Close the Garmin Aviation Database Manager Application.

  2. Select Quit Garmin Aviation Database Manager from the App bar.

  3. If the Garmin Aviation Database Manager is not responding, select the Apple logo on the App bar.

  4. Select Force Quit.

  5. Launch the Garmin Aviation Database Manager.  

  6. If the issue persists, then proceed with the steps to uninstall and reinstall the Garmin Aviation Database Manager.

To Uninstall and Reinstall the Garmin Aviation Database Manager

  1. Open the Finder app and select Applications.

  2. Right-click on the Garmin Aviation Database Manager app.

  3. Select Move to Trash.

  4. Open the Trash bin on your Mac.

  5. Select Empty.

  6. Restart your Mac.

  7. Download the latest version of the Garmin Aviation Database Manager.

  8. Open the downloaded installer file.

  9. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

  10. Restart your Mac.

  11. Launch Garmin Aviation Database Manager.
