Garmin GI 275 Multi-function Instruments with System Software Version 2.42 or earlier are affected.

PURPOSE:

GI 275 Multi-function Instrument System Software Version 2.50 provides the following updates:

• Addresses Garmin Service Advisory 21138 for depicting FIS-B from a GNX™ 375
• Allows multiple vertical modes to be armed with a GFC 500
• Improves the GI 275 database update user experience
• Adds new FIS-B product depiction such as:
  
  • Turbulence
  • G-AIRMETS
  • Icing
  • Lightning
  • Cloud Tops
  • CWA
• Additional interface enhancements:
  
  • Allows the VFR GPS to provide GPS NAV aiding to the GMC 507 when interfaced to Navigational sources such as the GNC® 255
  • Allows the VFR GPS to provide Direct-To capability if the certified GPS source never acquires GPS
• Additional display enhancements:
  
  • Provides a configuration option to depict Selected Course on the ADI page
  • Provides a configuration to change the ADI aircraft symbol between the standard flat bar (dual cue) style depiction or the chevron (single cue) style depiction.
  • Allows the display of MACH
• Provides an improved depiction of the Baro setting by inversing the background of the window when the synchronized Baro setting is being modified by the off-side display source
