Sending a Flight Plan Wirelessly from the Garmin Pilot™ Application to a Garmin Avionics Device.
To send a flight plan from the Garmin Pilot aviation app to your Garmin avionics, you will need to have one of the following devices installed in your aircraft:
The Flight Stream 210, which works with the following avionics:
- Cirrus Perspective*
- GNS™ 530W receiver
- GTN™ touchscreen avionics
- GTN Xi
The Flight Stream 510, which works with the following avionics:
- GTN
- G1000® NXi* avionics suite
- G3000®* glass cockpit
- G5000®* glass cockpit
- GTN Xi
A direct Bluetooth connection between the device and Garmin Pilot can be established with the following:
- aera® 660 aviation portable
- aera® 760
- G3X Touch™ large-format flight display system
- GDL® 60 data transceiver
- GNC® 355(A) aviation equipment
- GNX™ 375 IFR Navigator
- GPS 175

To transfer a flight plan from Garmin Pilot to your panel mount devices:
Establish a Bluetooth connection between your device listed above and the tablet/phone running Garmin Pilot.
Open Garmin Pilot once the connection has been established.
Touch Home.
Touch Flight Plan.
Create a flight plan in Garmin Pilot.
Touch the blue Connext icon at the top of the page.
When the Connext Menu opens, scroll down to the 'Flight Plan Transfer' section.
Select the option labeled Send To.
This will send the flight plan to the avionics in your aircraft.
Once sent, you will have to approve the incoming flight plan to your navigator.
