HRM 200 or HRM 600 Connects to My Edge but Does Not Display Heart Rate Data
Some Edge® cycling computers do not support the HRM 200 or HRM 600's secured Bluetooth connection which will result in no heart rate data displaying on the device. (See list of Edges that do support secure connections here). To resolve this issue, switch the HRM to "open" pairing mode following these instructions:
If paired, remove the HRM from the Edge's sensor list.
Ensure the HRM is awake by pressing the button on the module once. The LED will blink green to indicate it is awake:
Double-blink: Secure connection type
Triple-blink: Open connection type
Change the connection type to Open by double-pressing the button.
Pair the HRM to your Edge using the Sensors menu.
If you have issues with pairing or continue to have issues with not seeing heart rate data see My Garmin Device Will Not Pair or Display Data From My Chest Heart Rate Monitor for additional help.
