Disabling Bitdefender Antivirus and Firewall Protection

To temporarily disable Bitdefender antivirus and firewall protection on your computer due to an error in the Chart Installer software, do the following:

1. Open the Bitdefender software application on your device.
   
2. Go to the Protection section. This is available on the left side panel on the screen.
   
3. Antivirus:
   • Go to Protection on the left side of the interface.
   • In the Antivirus panel, click Open.
   • In the Advanced tab, turn off Bitdefender Shield.
   • Choose to disable it Permanently or Until system restart and press OK.
     
4. Firewall:
   • Return to Protection and turn off the Firewall.
     

Close the Chart Installer program and then reopen it to refresh the screen and proceed to start the download again.
