Vehicle Incompatibility List for ecoRoute HD

The vehicles listed on the incompatibility list for ecoRoute™ HD are the result of reported instances where the use of the cable did not work as intended. Listed below are the reason(s) the vehicle was deemed potentially incompatible with ecoRoute HD. This does not mean that every vehicle of that make and model will experience incompatibility symptoms with ecoRoute HD. If you decide to purchase ecoRoute HD and have a vehicle listed below, please follow the installation and pairing instructions included in the box. If you notice any change in vehicle performance as a result of the connection of ecoRoute HD, shut off the vehicle and disconnect the ecoRoute HD cable from the OBD II port.

• 2007 BMW 328i

Keyless entry system may not work on vehicle while ecoRoute HD cable is plugged into OBD II port.

• 1996 Dodge Intrepid

While driving, the data to the ecoRoute HD cable may be interrupted causing the Garmin device to stop reporting ecoRoute information. This may also result in improper fuel mileage calculations.

• 2000 Ford F350 7.3L Turbo Diesel

During the initial setup of the ecoRoute HD accessory the engine may miss or turn off.

• 2002 Mazda 626 LX V6

While driving, the data to the ecoRoute HD cable may be interrupted causing the Garmin device to stop reporting ecoRoute information. This may also result in improper fuel mileage calculations.

• 2003 and 2004 Subaru Forester

While driving, the data to the ecoRoute HD cable may be interrupted causing the Garmin device to stop reporting ecoRoute information. This may also result in improper fuel mileage calculations.

• All Renault Vehicles

Renault vehicles tested experienced issues with the vehicle gauges when an OBD2 device was connected to the OBD2 port for an unpredictable period of time.

• 2008 and 2009 Toyota Highlander Hybrid

The vehicle's battery may drain while the vehicle is not in use for extended periods of time.

• 2005 BMW 330C

The RPM and Water Temp. gauges may stop displaying updated information or display data inconsistently. This may also result in improper fuel mileage calculations.

• 2003 Dodge Ram Diesel 4x4

Average miles per gallon is either reported as 0 or does not display a numerical value at all.

• 2009 Alfa Romeo 159

This vehicle does not communicate OBD II in a standard or common way.

• 1999 Mercedes Benz SLK230

The ecoRoute HD may disconnect whenever the vehicle is powered off. When reconnected, the ecoRoute profile must be re-entered.
