Why do I get an Error Message when Attempting to Purchase Databases on flyGarmin for a GTN/GTN Xi?
Aircraft is showing one of these system ID's: 343005C9C744D, 343006298A256, 343005AD9572F, 343005E25AA15, 343005B04646D, 3430054B6450A
- A GTN™ or GTN™ Xi GPS navigator with one of the system IDs mentioned above indicates that your configuration module has failed or is not installed correctly.
What is a System ID?
- The system ID is generated by a configuration module that is part of the back plate. The system ID is a unique number that is not repeated in other aircraft.
How to Find Your System ID:
- The system ID can only be found while sitting inside the aircraft.
- On the GTN or GTN Xi:
- Select System.
- System Status.
- The system ID will be listed at the top of the page.
Solutions
- Certified Aircraft:
- You will need to visit a Garmin Aviation Dealer so that they can investigate your GTN/Xi's configuration module and generate a new system ID.
- Experimental Aircraft:
