Restored Backup or Transfer from Garmin Express does not Display on Device

On some dēzl models, an additional procedure is required to import the backup or transfer file from the Garmin Express™ software.

To Import the Backup or Transfer:

  1. Power on the device

  2. Touch Where To?

  3. Touch Saved

  4. Touch the Menu Button (3 dots) in the upper right corner

  5. Touch Import 

  6. Put a check mark next to the file GarminExpressImport.gpx

  7. Touch OK

  8. Put a checkmark next to Select All to import Saved Locations and Routes 

• • Put a checkmark next to Waypoints to import saved locations only

  9. Touch Next

10. Touch Import at the bottom 

• • Create a new collection or add to a collection if desired

11. Touch the Back button to return to the Saved locations screen
