Troubleshooting Issues Viewing HuntView Maps

HuntView mapping provides detailed land owner information that you can view during your hunt. Some common issues you may experience if the map is not displaying properly:

  • No land owner detail showing (this feature is dependent on availability for your region)
  • No BirdsEye Imagery showing
  • Receiving an invalid JNX error when turning the device on
  • No map detail at all

Items to Check to Resolve Issues Displaying HuntView Maps


Garmin DriveTrack™ 70 LMT and Garmin DriveTrack™ 71 GPS Navigator Users

You may need to disable competing pre-installed maps.

  1. Select Settings
    NOTE: Ensure Usage Mode is set to Dog Tracking
  2. Select Map & Vehicle
  3. Select myMaps
    NOTE: For Garmin DriveTrack 71 select Configure Maps.
  4. Uncheck TOPO U.S. 100k and CN North America NT
  5. Confirm that Garmin HuntView™ and HuntView Imagery are checked
