How to Access Installation Documents and Software for Certified Avionics that were Purchased Over-The-Counter
Authorized content, such as installation manuals and software, are available to access in the Garmin Support Center for your certified aviation product that was purchased over-the-counter.¹
To Access Authorized Content, Complete the Registration for your Product:
- Go to https://fly.garmin.com/fly-garmin/devices/warranty-registration.
- Select on Register Panel-Mounted Avionics/Devices.
- Fill in the required fields to complete the registration.
- After your product is registered, you will be authorized to view content for your product on the Garmin Support Center while logged into your account.
To View Authorized Content:
- Go to https://support.garmin.com.
- Enter your product name.
- If your product has been registered and you are signed into your account, then you now have access to the Authorized Content for your product in the Support Center.
You can also visit the Aviation Support Center at https://aviationsupport.garmin.com for filtered content for Aviation products. The Authorized Content for products purchased over-the-counter is also available on the Aviation Support Center after selecting any topic and then making a product selection.

- The G5 electronic flight instrument.
- The GDL® 82 data transceiver.
- The GI-260 AOA indicator system.
- The GI 275 electronic flight instrument.
- The GMA™ audio panels, including the GMA 342 and GMA 345.
- The GNC® radios, including the GNC 255, GNC 215, and GNC 355.
- The GPS 175 touchscreen GPS navigator.
- The GSB™ 15 high-speed USB charging hub for aircraft.
- The GTR™ COM transceivers, including the GTR 225 and GTR 205.
- The GTX™ transponders, including the GTX 325 and GTX 335.
