Accessing Routes and Waypoints Transferred from the Computer on a zūmo® Device
Routes and waypoints can be created on the computer in programs such as BaseCamp™™ software and then transferred to the device. When routes are imported to your Garmin device, the route may change due to navigation settings within your device. Waypoints will remain unchanged by the Garmin device.
To Access a Transferred Route:
- When the device is first powered on, the message 'New routes found. Import to Trip Planner?' will appear. Touch Yes
- Select each route you want to import
- Touch Import
- Go back to the Main Menu
- Touch Apps
- zūmo® 395 | zūmo® 396 | zūmo® 595 GPS navigators can also access the Trip Planner by touching Where To?, then Trip Planner
- Touch Trip Planner
The imported routes are now listed under Unscheduled Trips or Imported Trips.
To Access a Transferred Waypoint:
- Touch Where To?
- Touch Saved
- Touch the menu
or wrench button
- Touch Import
- Touch Select All or put a checkmark next to the individual locations
- Touch Import
The imported waypoints are now listed under Saved.
