What is Physio TrueUp?
The TrueUp™ physio data synchronization feature allows data uploaded to a Garmin Connect™ account to be in kept in sync across multiple Garmin® devices on one account. This is done behind the scenes as recorded information is sent to the Garmin Connect™ application and each device syncs. It means that you will see the same information for the types listed below on any compatible device that syncs to your account.
What Type of Data is Kept in Sync?
The data that can be kept in sync depends on the devices that you are using. Devices compatible with Unified Training Status are able to TrueUp sync Training Status, HRV Status, and Training Readiness. On devices that are not compatible with Unified Training Status, it is important to sync all your devices prior to starting an activity, otherwise Recovery Time and Training Load will end up different on the different devices. Sleep data will only sync across devices that are compatible with the Sleep Score and Insights Feature.
The following list is all the data that can be shared across compatible products when leveraging TrueUp data sync:
NOTE: Physio TrueUp will not sync data to a watch that does not have that specific feature.
Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and Power Zones
Heat and Altitude Acclimation
HRV Status1
Last Activity/Sport Widget

TrueUp for this feature occurs once per day after waking up and data may diverge slightly on different devices throughout the day.

How Do I Enable TrueUp?
Devices that are compatible with Unified Training Status have TrueUp enabled by default. For all other devices, TrueUp is a prompted step during the Garmin Connect app pairing process. You can also enable this feature later in Garmin Connect under the device settings. When enabling the feature for the first time, the last 75 days of activity data will download and update your Physiological Metrics.
NOTE: Physio TrueUp can not be disabled on devices with Unified Training Status.

From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select (Devices & Sync Status) from the top right.
Select the device you want to enable Physio TrueUp on.
Select General (skip this step for some devices).
Toggle Physio TrueUp on.
Select Save Settings.
Unified Training Status
Unified Training Status allows one designated device to compute all training metrics, allowing you to share the same exact training data across multiple Garmin devices. For more information, see in this FAQ.
1 Your device must be compatible with Unified Training Status. For a list of devices that are compatible, see What is Unified Training Status?
2 For accounts without a Unified Training Status capable device, Recovery Time and Training Load only update when Physio TrueUp is enabled on all devices. We recommend syncing your device prior to starting any new activity. Failure to do so can cause Acute Training Load to differ between devices.
