How Do I Calibrate the Touchscreen on My Edge Device?

Some Edge® Cycling Computers feature a touchscreen to directly interact with the device. If touches are not being accepted or are activating the wrong item, the Edge's screen may need to be calibrated. Calibrating the Edge will fine tune the input it receives from the touchscreen. 

Edge® 510 and Edge® 810 Calibration Steps

  1. Touch Setup (tools icon).

  2. Touch System.

  3. Touch Display.

  4. Touch Screen Calibration.

  5. Continuously press the dot1 until a Calibration is complete message appears.

  6. Touch OK.

1 A stylus or pencil eraser may be used to more accurately select the dots.

Edge® 800 Calibration Steps

  1. Touch Menu.

  2. Touch Setup (wrench icon).

  3. Touch System.

  4. Touch Display.

  5. Touch Screen Calibration.

  6. Continuously press the dot1 until a Calibration is complete message appears.

  7. Touch OK.

1 A stylus or pencil eraser may be used to more accurately select the dots.

Edge® Touring and Edge® Touring Plus Calibration Steps

  1. Ensure Edge is powered off.

  2. Press and hold Lap button.

  3. Power on.

  4. Release Lap when Touch the dot1 appears.

  5. Continuously press the dot until a Calibration is complete message appear.

1 A stylus or pencil eraser may be used to more accurately select the dots.

NOTE: All other Edge touchscreen devices feature a capacitive touchscreen that auto calibrates during use.
