Custom Activity Name From My Garmin Device Changes When Uploaded
When using custom names in an activity profile that name may not be able to come over to your Garmin Connect™ account when the activity is saved and synced. This limitation will vary by device model and the activity profile you use. When this limitation exists the activity will always upload with the official name of the profile type.
To see a custom name on your activity in your account the setting for the activity name needs to be set to Location & Device Activity Name.
From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select Profile & Account.
Select Account Settings.
Select Display Preferences.
Change Activity Name to Location & Device Activity Name.
