Where RODS Reports are Saved on the dēzl 780 or dēzlCam 785

The RODS report can easily be viewed on the dēzl™ 780 LMT-S and dēzlCam™ 785 LMT-S GPS navigators or on a computer.

NOTE: The location of saved RODS reports changed with a software update. See Updating the Garmin eLog App on a dēzl Device if the steps below do not work.

To View RODS Reports on the Device:

1. Touch the Apps icon

2. Touch Productivity

3. Touch File Manager

4. Touch Android

5. Touch Data

6. Touch com.garmin.pnd.eldapp

7. Touch Files

8. Touch Reports

9. Touch HOSExports


To View RODS Reports on the Computer:

NOTES: A Windows computer must be used for these steps. See Automotive Device Compatibility with Garmin Mac Applications on macOS for more info.

1. Plug the dēzl into the computer

2. Hold down the Windows key + E on the keyboard

Click This PC in the new window if using Windows 10 or newer.

3. Double-click the drive labeled with the device name

  • Windows 10 or newer, the drive will be listed under Devices and Drives.
  • Windows 7 and 8: the drive may be listed under Devices with Removable Storage or Portable Devices.

4. Double-click on Internal Storage

5. Double-click on Android

6. Double-click on the Data folder

7. Double-click on the com.garmin.pnd.eldapp folder

9. Double-click on the Files folder

10. Double-click on the Reports folder

11. Double-click on the HOSExports folder

12. The log files should now appear in the folder
