Bark Detection is a feature that determines if the dog wearing the collar is barking. The collar uses vibration to determine when the dog is barking. A pop up notification will give you an average barks per minute. The barks per minute will be in increments of 20. For example: Dog 1 is barking 40 barks per minute.
To ensure that collar is monitoring all barks correctly, it is essential that the collar is properly fit on the dog.
NOTE: If you have a collar with Bark Detection paired into the Dog List of a compatible handheld, the Bark Detection settings will show in the menu listings of the handheld. The collar must be manually paired to the handheld and not shared wirelessly. Pairing instructions for collars can be found here.
To enable bark detection, refer to the owner’s manual for your handheld.
Between the different systems the bark alerts are displayed differently.
