Transferring Playlists from iTunes® on a Windows PC
Garmin Express can be used to transfer music, playlists, audiobooks, and podcasts to Garmin watches that feature music capabilities. Music from your computer will display in the Music Tile in Garmin Express. For information on what audio file types Garmin music watches support, see related content below.
I am having an issue with transferring my iTunes® playlists
If your playlists are not automatically displayed in the Music Tile within Garmin Express, you will need to configure iTunes to share the iTunes library XML with other applications:
Launch iTunes and go to Edit > Preferences
Click the Advanced tab
Check the box Share iTunes Library XML with other applications
I am not seeing my playlists in Garmin Express
If your playlists are not automatically displayed in the latest version of Garmin Express, make sure you have selected iTunes as the source for your music files in Garmin Express:
Open Garmin Express
Select
in the top right corner
Select Music
Select iTunes
Select OK
You can also refresh the music library by following these steps:
Connect your Garmin Music device to the computer
Open Garmin Express
Select your Garmin Music device
Select Music
