Correcting the Solid Red Light on a DC Collar with an Astro 220
DC collars utilize the LED to provide feedback to the device's status. DC 20 and DC 30 collars will show a solid blue light while charging and the light will turn red when charging is complete. A DC 40 collar will show a flashing blue light while charging and a solid blue light when charging is complete. A red blinking light indicates the collar is ready for use.
If a DC 20, DC 30 or DC 40 collar is displaying a solid red light, the firmware in the collar will need to be reinstalled with the paired* Astro 220 connected to a computer.
*If collar has been removed from the Astro 220, it won't be possible to re-pair it. However, with an Astro 320 this may be resolved.
