My Dash Cam Videos are Pixelated on my Computer

Garmin Dash Cam™ videos may appear pixelated on a computer if you are viewing the .GLV files. .GLV files are for viewing on a phone with the Garmin Drive app or VIRB Mobile app. See below for more info on .GLV files.

• GLV Files on Most Garmin Dash Cams
• GLV Files on Garmin Dash Cam 45, Garmin Dash Cam 54, Garmin Dash Cam 55, and Garmin Dash Cam 65W

Most third-party video programs (Windows Media Player, VLC Player, Apple Video Programs, etc.) will work. Some media players may not support high-resolution playback. The .MP4 files must be used for viewing videos on a computer. Other formats like .MOV, .AVI, .WMV, and .FLV are not supported.
