GNS Series Repair Service Changes
Which GNS™ Units can be repaired?
- Most product failures can continue to be serviced by Garmin.
- Garmin can no longer replace or repair display modules for WAAS and Non-WAAS GPS 400, GNC® 420, and GNS 430 units that are unserviceable. All other GNS repairs continue to be available, including GNS 500 and GNS 530 series displays.

First introduced in 1998, Garmin has offered full repair service for the GNS 430/530 series for 25 years.
All other WAAS and Non-WAAS GNC 420, GNS 430, GNS 530, GPS 400, and GPS 500 repairs are still available but will be more limited in the future.
Database updates and technical support will also remain available for all units.

Replacement solutions for WAAS and Non-WAAS GPS 400, GNC 420, and GNS 430 include the widely adopted GTN™ Xi series, GNC 355 or GNX™ 375.
