Deleting Call History on an Automotive Device
There is no way to remove the call history on your Bluetooth-enabled automotive device while paired to a mobile phone. In order to remove calls from the call history, the Bluetooth connection must be dropped and the entries must be manually deleted from the phone.
To drop the phone connection, Bluetooth can be temporarily disabled on the Garmin device.
To Disable Bluetooth on Your Device:
- Touch Settings
- Touch Bluetooth or Wireless Networks
- You may need to touch the down arrow for this option to become visible.
- Uncheck the box or toggle switch next to Bluetooth to turn off
The two devices will now be disconnected.
You can now remove the desired entries from the mobile phone's call log. If you are unsure on how to do this, refer to the phone's owner's manual or contact the phone's manufacturer. Once the devices are paired again, the deleted entries will no longer show on the Garmin device.
