Garmin Smartphone Link PhotoLive Traffic Set Up

You can purchase a premium subscription of photoLive traffic cameras¹ for your device through the Garmin Smartphone Link application on your compatible smartphone.  This premium service will allow you to view photos from live traffic cameras within 75 miles of your current position.

NOTE: In-app purchases of Live Services are no longer available on Android devices. Previously purchased Live Services will remain active.

To Set up the PhotoLive Traffic Cameras Service:

1. Open the Garmin Smartphone Link application on your smartphone
2. Touch photoLive Cameras
3. Touch Add Camera
4. Touch the desired highway on the Select A Road screen
5. Touch the desired cross street
   • The application will display the latest image provided by the selected traffic camera
6. Touch Back
   • The selected traffic camera will display a heart icon next to it
7. Touch Back two times to return to the photoLive Cameras screen

Your selected photoLive traffic camera will now be visible from the main photoLive Cameras screen.  Repeat these steps to add all desired photoLive traffic cameras.

To Edit the Order the PhotoLive Traffic Cameras Appear:

1. Open the Garmin Smartphone Link application on your smartphone
2. Touch photoLive Cameras
3. Touch Menu
   • Skip this step on an iPhone
4. Touch Edit
5. Press and hold the 3 lines next to the desired camera
6. Drag that camera to the desired location and let go of the screen

Repeat these steps to put your photoLive traffic cameras in the desired order.

To Delete PhotoLive Traffic Cameras:

1. Open the Garmin Smartphone Link application on your smartphone
2. Touch photoLive Cameras
3. Touch Menu
   • Skip this step on an iPhone
4. Touch Edit
5. Touch the delete icon next to the desired camera
   • Red X icon on an Android phone
   • Red minus icon on an iPhone
6. Touch Delete to confirm

Repeat these steps to remove all unwanted traffic cameras from the list.

You can touch Delete all after step 4 to remove all of your selected photoLive traffic cameras.
