Replacing the Battery in an Automotive Device

Garmin automotive devices operate in conjunction with the rechargeable lithium-ion battery within the device. The battery in your device is built-in and is not replaceable. See Garmin Automotive Product Warranty Policy and Repair Process for more information.

If your device will not power on see troubleshooting in the Garmin Support Center:

  1. Go to Support Center
  2. Enter your product's name
  3. In the 'Search for a solution...' field enter, frozen or not powering on
