Sending App Logs from the Earthmate App to Product Support
In some situations, Garmin Product Support may ask for diagnostic data from the Earthmate® app to investigate an issue. When logs are requested, Product Support will send you an email.
Gathering Earthmate App Logs From an iPhone or iPad
NOTE: Earthmate app logs can only be collected when using an iPhone/iPad and a Mac. App logs cannot be collected from Earthmate for Android at this time.
Connect the iPhone/iPad to the computer with a USB cable.
Open Finder.
Select Go in the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Select Computer.
Open the iPhone/iPad drive.
Open Files.
Open Earthmate.
CTRL + Click on the Logs folder.
Select Copy "Logs".
CTRL + click on the Desktop and click Paste item.
CTRL + click the Logs folder on the desktop.
Select Compress "Logs".
Once you have the new Logs.zip file on the Desktop you can use the Secure File Uploader to provide it to Product Support. For instructions, see - Sending a File, Folder, Photo or Video to Garmin Product Support.
