In the event that you want to block a user, Garmin offers this feature through your Garmin Connect™ account.
Choose your option below to reveal steps to block a user.
NOTE: Blocking a user will hide your data, except in Groups or Challenges you are in together (in which case it will only display the basic data of the challenge (i.e.-step count for a steps challenge). It also prevents future requests or invitations from the user.
From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select Connections from the navigation bar on the left.
Locate the connection that you want to block.
Select connection to view their detailed profile.
Select

Open the Garmin Connect app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select Connections.
Select the connection you want to block to view their profile.
Select the

Select Block User.
Select Block.
From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Locate the user you want to block.
Blocking someone that is not a connection requires you to locate and view their profile page. You can access a user's profile by selecting their display name from a challenge, group, leaderboard, or comments section.
From the user's profile page, select

Open the Garmin Connect app.
Select More (bottom right).
Select Connections.
Select 
in the top right.
Type in the name of the user you want to block.
Select the correct user to view their profile.
Select in the top right.
Select Block User.
Select Block.
You can view users that you have blocked from the Privacy Settings of your account:
From a web browser, sign into your Garmin Connect account.
Select your profile icon (top right).
From the drop down choose Account Settings.
Under Settings select Privacy Settings.
Select View next to Blocked Users.
From here you can view and choose to unblock users that you have previously blocked.
