User Data Limitations of the Tread Series

When Sending or Creating Files for the Tread® GPS Navigator and all Models in the Tread® Series, Keep in Mind the Following Limitations:

• Unlimited GPX files¹

• Waypoints

  • Maximum of 1,000 waypoints on the Tread®, Tread® - Base Edition, and Tread Textron devices

    • If storage is enabled using the Tread® app there is no limit to the number of waypoints that can be stored. For steps on enabling storage in the Tread app see Enable Storage on the Tread App.

  • Maximum of 10,000 waypoints on the Tread® 2 GPS navigator

    • If storage is enabled using the Tread app there is no limit to the number of waypoints that can be stored. For steps on enabling storage in the Tread app see Enable Storage on the Tread App.

  • Maximum of 8,500 waypoints on the Tread® XL - Baja Chase Edition and Tread® XL - Baja Race Edition

    • If storage is enabled using the Tread app there is no limit to the number of waypoints that can be stored. For steps on enabling storage in the Tread app see Enable Storage on the Tread App.

  • Maximum of 8,500 waypoints on the Arctic Cat G8 Display, Kawasaki RIDGE 8" Tread Display, Tread® - Overland Edition, Tread® - SxS Edition, Tread® XL - Baja Chase Edition, Tread® XL - Baja Race Edition, and Tread® XL - Overland Edition devices

    • If storage is enabled using the Tread app there is no limit to the number of waypoints that can be stored. For steps on enabling storage in the Tread app see Enable Storage on the Tread App.

• Unlimited geocaches¹

• Unlimited routes¹

  • Maximum of 200 waypoints per route.

• Unlimited saved tracks¹

  • Maximum of 10,000 points per track on the Tread, Tread - Base Edition, and Tread Textron devices

  • Maximum of 100,000 points per track on the Tread 2

  • Maximum of 250,000 points per track on the Arctic Cat G8 Display, Kawasaki RIDGE 8" Tread Display, Tread - Overland Edition, Tread - SxS Edition, Tread® XL - Baja Chase Edition, Tread XL - Baja Race Edition, and Tread XL - Overland Edition devices

    • A software update may be required to get the full maximum

• 2,000 archive tracks

Each GPX file can contain a mixture of waypoints, geocaches, routes, and tracks. If the GPX file containing a waypoint or geocache is deleted, the waypoint will no longer be available on the device. When utilizing routes, only 50 points can be used for on-road navigation.
