Turning Beeper Sounds On or Off Remotely and Locating your Dog with the Beeper Device
Several steps are necessary before you can remotely locate your dog with the Upland Beeper. Follow the steps below to start locating your dog using the beeper.
- The dog collar, the beeper, and the handheld must all be turned on
- The dog collar and the beeper must be in the correct orientation on the dog's collar strap. The diagram below shows the correct 12 o'clock / 6 o'clock position.
Turning the Beeper Sounds On or Off Remotely
- On the handheld, select a training mode in which a training key is assigned to the B (beeper)
- Quickly press and release the training key assigned to B to turn the beeper sounds ON or OFF for the selected dog
Locating Your Dog Using the Beeper
You can remotely trigger the beeper to emit a series of beeps, which you can use to determine the location of your dog.
- On the handheld, select the dog to locate
- Select the training mode in which a training key is assigned to B (for beeper control)
- Hold the training key assigned to B
The beeper emits a series of beeps for as long as you hold the training key, up to eight seconds.
