Alpha 200 Plus or Alpha 300 Series Touch Screen Lock and Training Key Lock
The touch screen on the Alpha® 200, Alpha 300, and Alpha 300i dog tracking handheld can be locked to prevent accidental screen presses that change settings or what page you are on. You can also lock the training keys to prevent accidental key presses sending training commands.
Locking and Unlocking the Touchscreen
To lock the Touchscreen:
- Tap and release the Power button.
- Tap Lock Screen.
- The slider dot should be moved to the right side position.
- Screen is now Locked (except for the other controls on this page).
- Hit the Back Arrow in the bottom right to return to the previous screen.
To unlock the Touchscreen:
- Tap and release the Power button.
- Tap Lock Screen.
- The slider dot should be moved to the left side position.
- The screen is now unlocked.
Locking and Unlocking Training Keys
To lock the Training Keys:
- Tap and release the Power button.
- Tap Lock Keys.
- The slider dot should be moved to the right side position.
- The Training Keys are now locked (except for the other controls on this page).
- Hit the Back Arrow in the bottom right to return to the previous screen.
To unlock the Training Keys:
- Tap and release the Power button.
- Tap Lock Keys.
- The slider dot should be moved to the left side position.
- The Training Keys are now unlocked.
- Hit the Back Arrow in the bottom right to return to the previous screen.
