Updating Software on an Approach Z30 Range Finder
Software on the Approach® Z30 range finder will update in the background when actively paired to your Garmin Golf™ app. To pair your range finder, see Getting Started with the Approach Z30 Range Finder. You can view the software version for your device using the steps below.
Open the Garmin Golf app.
Select either
on an Android™ or More on iOS.Select Garmin Devices.
Select your Approach Z30.
Software Version will be listed.
If the software version is not listed, your device may have gone to sleep. Ensure it is turned on and connected via Bluetooth.
