Configuring Di2 Shifters on an Edge Cycling Computer
Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic shifters and newer Ultegra electronic shifters have buttons on the top of the hoods that can be configured to control certain functions on compatible Edge® cycling computers. The buttons can be configured to control your Edge and can offer up to six different button press types:
Left Single Press
Left Press and Hold
Left Double Press
Right Single Press
Right Press and Hold
- Right Double Press
This feature requires the use of a D-FLY wireless unit (SM-EWW01 or EW-WU111). The software version of the shifters must also be up to date. Refer to Shimano's E-TUBE Project for software updates.
How Do I Configure the Di2 Hood Buttons?
When you have a compatible Edge device paired with a Shimano Di2 system, you will need to select the settings option on the Edge followed by Sensors. Location of these options can vary by model. Consult your owner's Manual for specific information about your model.
