Alumaducers and Garmin® Marine Devices.

An Alumaducer is a transducer that is designed to transmit its signal through an aluminum hull with zero signal loss. For more information about the Alumaducer, visit their webpage.

Although an adapter is produced by the manufacturer of the Alumaducer that is intended for Garmin® products, Garmin does not directly support its installation or use. This adapter has a 6-pin connector on it. If your sounder requires a 4 or 8-pin connector, then either a 6-pin Transducer to 4-pin Sounder Adapter Cable or 6-pin Transducer to 8-pin Sounder Adapter Wire Block will be necessary.
