How to Search, Save, Edit, or Delete Locations on the zūmo XT2

Choose a topic below for instructions on searching for, saving, editing, or deleting addresses or points of interest (POI).

To Search for an Address

 1. Touch Where To?

2. Touch Address

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the address information.

4. Touch to change the city/state the address is being searched in if necessary

The address should appear in the list of search results. Select a destination from this list and touch Go.

To Search for a Point of Interest

1. Touch Where To?

2. Touch Categories

 

3. Select the POI category (food, fuel, lodging, etc.) best matching your desired destination

 

4. Select a subcategory if necessary

 

 5. Select the destination from the listed nearby POIs

 

6. Touch Go to calculate a route

 

It is possible to save a destination so it can be easily accessed in the future. The destination will then be accessible from Waypoints in the Where To? menu on the device.

To Save a Result

1. Search for an address, POI, etc., using the options available in the Search menu

 

2. Select a location from the search results

3. Touch the  info button

 

4. Touch Save 

 

5. The following options can be edited

  • Name: Changes the name of the saved waypoint.

  • Map Symbol: Changes the map symbol that represents the location of the waypoint.

  • Collections: Adds the waypoint to a collection.

  • Delete: Deletes the waypoint from the saved waypoints.

6. Touch Save to add address to Waypoints

 

Repeat steps to save additional destinations.

To Edit a Favorite 

1. Touch Where To?

2. Touch Waypoints

 

3. Touch the location you would like to edit

 

4. Touch Edit

  

5. Touch the information you would like to change

  • Name: Changes the name of the saved waypoint.

  • Map Symbol: Changes the map symbol that represents the location of the waypoint.

  • Collections: Adds the waypoint to a collection.

  • Delete: Deletes the waypoint from the saved waypoints.

 

6. Touch Done

 

To Delete a Favorite

1. Touch Where To?

2. Touch Waypoints

3. Locate and touch the waypoint you would like to delete

4. Touch the Edit

5. Touch Delete

6. Touch Yes

 

The selected favorite(s) will now be deleted.

To Delete Multiple Favorites:

1. Touch Where To?

2. Touch Waypoints

3. Touch the Three Dots

 

4. Touch Select and Edit

 

5. Touch the location(s) you would like to delete

  • Touch if you would like to delete all saved favorites.

 

6. Touch the Trash Can Icon once the desired locations are selected

 

7. Touch Yes

 

The selected favorite(s) will now be deleted.
