Connect Marine Wi-Fi Adapter Kit to DC power supply

The Marine Wi-Fi Adapter Kit includes a household AC (120/220VAC) Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) adapter and a DC (12/24VDC) PoE adapter. Previous versions of the kit may only have included the AC PoE adapter. In such cases, a DC PoE adapter would need to be purchased separately. Garmin recommends one that can supply 12-15 VDC and 0.8 Amps.

One specific model that Garmin has tested and is known to work properly is made by Tycon. It is part number TP-DCDC-1218.
