Main Software and GDU Software Versions for Garmin G3000/5000

Finding the Main software versions installed on G3000® and G5000® Integrated Flight Decks

Main Software Version

    1. From the Garmin Touch Controller (GTC) home page, Touch UTILITIES.
    2. Press the SETUP button.
    3. Press the AVIONICS button.
    4. Touch the AIRFRAME Tab.
    5. Scroll as needed by swiping up or down on the right side of the screen to view the airframe information, which includes the main software version.

 

Garmin Display Unit (GDU™) Panel Mount Software Version:

    1. From the Garmin Touch Controller (GTC) home page, touch Utilities.
    2. Press the Setup button.
    3. Press the Avionics Status button.
    4. Touch the LRU Info tab.
    5. Scroll as needed by swiping up or down on the right side of the screen through the list of  Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) to find the Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multifunction Display (MFD) software versions.
