No Courses Near Message on a Garmin Approach
The No Courses Near or No Nearby Courses message means that something is preventing the golf courses from being used on your Approach® golf device. To fix this, the golf courses will need to be reloaded to the Approach device using the Garmin Express™ program.
Before getting started you will need the following:
Garmin Express program installed on a Windows or Mac computer.
NOTE: To install the Garmin Express program, follow these instructions How to Install Garmin Express for Garmin Approach.
The cable (USB) that came with your Approach® device.
Your Approach device with its battery charged or at least half full.

Steps for Reinstalling
Connect your Approach device to the computer.
Open the Garmin Express program.

Select Course Details.
Select Course Options.
NOTE: If you only see an option to Install, see - Installing Updates to Your Approach.
Select Reinstall for the region(s) that need reloaded.
Select Continue.
Once Garmin Express gives an Updates Complete message, safely eject the device from your computer before disconnecting it.
Windows: Press the Windows key + E, right-click the Garmin device and choose Eject. Once the device disappears, disconnect it from the computer.
Mac: Drag the device to the Trash or select the Finder and choose the Eject symbol next to the Garmin device. Once the device disappears, disconnect it from the Mac.
Take the Approach device outdoors and start a round of golf. If a course(s) near you displays, your Approach device is now working properly.
