Pairing an Approach S20 to the Garmin Connect App
When paired with an Approach® S20 golf watch, the Garmin Connect™ app can wirelessly upload and store your rounds within the Garmin Connect Website. In addition, when paired with a Bluetooth Smart enabled phone, you can receive notifications from your phone right on the device.
Pairing an Approach S20 Watch to the Garmin Connect App
iOS
Place the iOS device within 10ft (3m) of the Approach.
Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the iOS device (see iOS device manual for details).
On the Approach S20 watch, press the Ok button.
Select Settings.
Select Bluetooth.
Select Pair Smartphone.
On the iOS device, open the Connect app.
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select Add Device.
Follow these steps if the watch is not found automatically:Touch Browse All devices.
Touch Approach S20.
Select Yes to pair when the phone finds the watch.
Type in the PIN displayed on the Approach S20 when requested.
Select Done.
Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the pairing.
Android
Place the Android device within 10ft (3m) of the Approach.
Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the Android device (see Android device manual for details).
On the Approach S20 watch, press the Ok button.
Select Settings.
Select Bluetooth.
Select Pair Smartphone.
On the Android device, open the Garmin Connect app.
Access the menu by selecting More (bottom right).
Select Garmin Devices.
Select Add Device.
Follow these steps if the watch is not found automatically:Touch Browse All devices.
Touch Approach S20.
Select Yes when the phone finds the watch.
Type in the PIN displayed on the Approach S20 when requested.
Select Ok.
Follow the onscreen prompts to complete the pairing.
You have now successfully paired the Garmin Connect app.
