Showing a Different Location Rather than the Current Location on an eTrex 10, 20(x), 22x, 30(x), or 32x

If you would like the eTrex 10, 20(x), 22x, 30(x), or 32x to show a different location other than your current location, you will need to set the device into Demonstration mode. Once in this mode, you can change the location. When the device is in Normal mode, it will automatically locate its correct position.

To change the current location:

1. Press Menu twice to access Main menu
2. Select Setup
3. Select System
4. Select GPS
5. Select Demo Mode
6. Press Menu twice to return Main menu
7. Select Satellite
8. Press Menu button
9. Select Set Location On Map
10. Use the Map to select the desired position
11. Press Use button once location is selected

You have now selected the desired location to be used as your current location on the eTrex.

To quickly have your device locate your current location, turn the device off and back on. You can also follow steps 1 though 4 from above, and select Normal mode to locate your current location.
